There came a point in my life where I realized that what I was doing in classrooms and churches, while meaningful, was also very limiting. As a special education teacher in Richardson ISD and through my time serving in churches, I was able to help students, but only within certain structures and time constraints. What stood out to me most was that the real impact wasn’t happening during lessons, it was happening in the conversations before and after, in the moments where students were trying to figure out life, not just school. That’s when it became clear to me that students don’t just need instruction, they need guidance, someone to help them think, make decisions, and understand who they are. And when I look back on my own life, especially as a teenager, that’s when I needed that kind of help the most. I didn’t need more rules or more pressure, I needed clarity, direction, and someone in my corner. That realization stayed with me, and over time I felt called to step outside those limitations and meet students where they actually are. This is not just something I do, it’s something I know matters, because these are the years where identity is formed, decisions begin to carry weight, and the direction of a life starts to take shape.

While I actively serve and have plans to continue growing in my local church in Lewisville, this format allows me to reach more students without the typical limitations, red tape, or scheduling constraints that can come with traditional structures.
My calling has always been relational and personal, one-on-one, with the student and often with the parent involved.
This model allows me to invest directly into students and families while also creating financial freedom so I can continue to pastor and serve without depending on a church salary.
Yes!
Parents are always more than welcome to sit in, especially in the beginning or at any point they feel it is helpful.
My goal is not to replace the parent, but to support and strengthen what is already happening at home, school, and beyond.
Yes!
Sessions can be held in a visible, open setting or through a monitored virtual platform.
If preferred, sessions can be recorded or done with full parent visibility to ensure comfort, trust, and transparency. Should anything else be preferred, lets talk!
I am guaranteeing your teenager will learn how to think clearly, make wise effective decisions, and navigate all real-life situations with confidence.
We focus on identity, decision-making, relationships, emotional awareness, and understanding what to do during and after high school and even during college.
This is not just advice, it is training for real life.
It is a combination of all three.
Each session draws from my time giving youth pastoral care, life coaching, and biblical counseling principles.
The goal is not just to talk through problems, but to build long-term clarity, confidence, and direction for all current and future decisions.
This is for junior high and high school students (and even college age students) who need guidance, direction, or simply a trusted adult to help them think through life.
Some students are struggling.
Some are doing well but want more direction.
Some just need someone consistent in their corner who isn't apart of their immediate family or friend group.
Most students meet once per week, but this can be adjusted based on the student’s needs and the family’s schedule.
Consistency truly is key, especially when building trust and real growth.
One-on-one sessions are $65 per HOUR session.
Each session is focused, practical, and tailored to your student’s life, decisions, and development.
School counselors are often overloaded and focused on academics and logistics.
Youth groups are highly valuable, but they are typically group-based and not always personalized. (part of the reason I choose to Coach)
This is focused, one-on-one guidance tailored specifically to your teenager’s life, decisions, and future.
Yes! It is even preferred at times.
Students can meet one-on-one or in small groups, depending on what is most beneficial for them.
Group sessions can be helpful for discussion, accountability, and learning from others, while one-on-one sessions allow for deeper, personalized guidance. We can structure this based on your student’s needs.
Yes, with proper structure and parental/guardian availability.
In-person meetings can take place in a public setting, a mutually agreed-upon location, or at your home as long as a parent or guardian is present.
My priority is maintaining a safe, respectful, and transparent environment at all times.
Yes, and I will do my best to!
If helpful, I can coordinate with teachers, coaches, youth pastors, or other trusted adults in your student’s life.
The goal is alignment, not isolation, making sure everyone involved is helping your student move in the same direction. Whether in person, email or phone call.
Yes.
As we identify your student’s interests, strengths, and direction, I will look for opportunities to connect them with people in those fields.
When possible, I will help schedule those conversations and can even be present during those meetings depending on agreement between parents and personal availability.
This helps students move from ideas to real-world exposure.
This is not just conversation or surface-level advice.
I combine my experience as a Youth Pastor, life coaching, and biblical counseling with real-world application.
Students are not just encouraged, they are trained to think, decide, and act with clarity
I also focus heavily on identity, helping students understand who they are, not just what they should and should not do.
And when possible, I go beyond conversation by helping connect them to real people, real environments, and real next steps.
Yes.
I fully support the role of the local church and will work alongside your student’s youth pastor when appropriate.
This is not meant to replace the church, but to reinforce and strengthen what your student is already receiving.
Yes!
Group sessions are same cost per student, per session.
Groups are intentionally kept small to maintain quality and engagement
This allows students to learn from others while still receiving direct guidance.
If cost is a concern, feel free to reach out.
My goal is to help students and families, and I’m open to working through options when needed.
Yes. (another reason for the career change & choice of coaching)
Sessions don’t have to be limited to sitting across from each other (and shouldn't)
When appropriate, we can meet in more active environments such as a basketball court, field, or open space, where we can talk while shooting, throwing, or moving.
I can also teach and develop basic skills in basketball, football, or baseball as part of building connection, confidence, and discipline.
Sessions can take place:
The goal is to create an environment where you and your student is comfortable, engaged, and free to talk and listen.
Yes, when appropriate.*
While I am not a tutor and that is not the primary focus, I do hold a bachelor’s degree, some seminary, and can assist with most general homework.
More importantly, I help students develop the discipline, focus, and thinking skills needed to approach their own work with confidence.
No, no!
This is open to all students and families.
However, I do operate from a biblical foundation, and topics like faith, identity, and purpose will naturally include conversations about Jesus.
Nothing is forced or pressured, but it is presented as Truth and as the source of guidance and stability.
Yes.
One of my goals is to help students find the right environments and people.
Whether that is a church group, sports environment, peer group, or future career interest, I will actively look for opportunities to connect your student to places where they can grow to their fullest.
This is not just about conversations, it is about real connection
Yes.
Many students struggle not because they lack ability, but because they lack structure.
We work on building simple, effective systems for managing time, responsibilities, schoolwork, and personal growth.
The goal is to help students become consistent, responsible, and confident in how they handle their daily lives now and in the future.
That is the goal!
This is not short-term motivation or surface-level advice.
Students are taught how to think, how to make decisions, and how to understand who they are
Those are skills that carry into adulthood, relationships, work, and life beyond high school into college.
Progress is tracked through consistent conversation, clear goals, and observable growth over time.
We focus on areas like decision-making, confidence, identity, responsibility, and follow-through.
When helpful, I will set simple, practical goals with your student and revisit them regularly to measure growth.
Parents can also receive updates or check-ins to stay informed on what is being worked on.
I can provide periodic updates, summaries, or brief check-ins so you know what your student is working through and how they are progressing.
My goal is to work with you, not separate from you.
Each student is different, but we often set clear, practical goals related to school, relationships, habits, and future direction.
These are not overwhelming, but intentional and actionable.
Progress may look like:
better decision-making
more confidence in who they are
improved communication
greater responsibility and follow-through
clearer direction for the future
The focus is real-life growth, not just checking boxes
